Central Bank of India Clerk Recruitment Exam Selection Process and Syllabus

Her is the syllabus to study for the preparation of Central Bank of India recruitment exam.

Selection Procedure:

  • Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview. Details of Written test and Interview are as under:

Written Test:

  1. Objective tests: The Objective tests consists of
    --(i) Test of Reasoning Ability
    --(ii) Test of English Language
    --(iii) Test of Numerical Ability
    --(iv) Test of Clerical Aptitude. There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the objective test. The candidates shall be required to qualify in the objective test separately. Test of English is qualifying and carries no Weight age in the total marks for the written test. The time duration will be 95 minutes and each Test will be of 50 Questions.
  2. Descriptive Test: It will consist of 5 compulsory questions with internal options, to assess knowledge on Socio-Economic Developments and Communication skills. The descriptive test is only a qualifying test.
  3. Candidates have option to answer Descriptive Tests paper either in English or Hindi or in the official Language of the state/Union Territory for which they have applied.
  4. Candidates have to pass in each of the objective & Descriptive Test separately.
  5. Depending upon the number of candidates against the vacancies only those candidates, who rank sufficiently high in the objective test will be called for interview. Mere eligibility/pass in the test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview.
  6. Other detailed information regarding the written examination will be given in the information booklet, which will be made available to the candidates along with the call letter.
