Assistant Director, Archives (Group-B) (unreserved) in

Department : Archives Department, Haryana

Total Posts: 1

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.9300-34800+4200 Grade pay

Age Limit: Not below 25 years and not more than 40 years as on 19.11.2012

Education Qualification:

  • M.A., Second Division, in History from a recognized University
  • Diploma in Archives keeping
  • Three years experience in Archives work in a Government Department/University or any institution dealing with Archive work but not less than the grade of Assistant Archivist or its equivalent
  • Knowledge of Hindi /Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.

Deputy Director/Principal Govt. Colleges, HES-I (Group-A)

Department: Higher Education Department, Haryana.

Total Posts: 7

Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000+Rs.10000/- GP

Age Limit: Not less than 36 years as on 15.10.2012 and no upper age has been presceribed.

Education Qualification:

  • A Master‟s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B.C,D,E and F.
  • Ph.D or equivalent published work.
  • Total experience of 15 years of Teaching/Research in Universities/Colleges and/or other institution of Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard or its equivalent. Besides above said qualifications M.Ed degree is essential in case of Principals of Colleges of Education.

Deputy District Attorney

Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800+Rs.5400 grade pay.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be below 27 years and not more than 40 years as on 19.11.2012

Education Qualification:

  • Degree of Bachelor of Laws from a recognized University.
  • Who has practised as an Advocate or pleader at the bar for a period of not less than five years.
  • Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or 10+2/ B.A/ M.A with Hindi as one of the subjects.

Assistant Engineer (Civil)

Total Posts: 20

Pay Scale:  PB-2 (Rs.9300-34800) + Rs.5400/- Grade Pay.

Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and not more than 40 years as on 1.8.2012.

Education Qualification:

  • B.E (Civil) or equivalent qualification as mentioned in appendix-B of HSE (Class-II) Public Works Department (Irrigation Branch) Rules, 1970.
  • Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric Level.

Assistant Engineer (Group-B)

Pay Scale: PB-2 (Rs.9300-34800) + Rs.5400/- Grade Pay.

Age Limit: Not less than 20 years and not more than 40 years as on 1.8.2012.

Education Qualification:

  • B.E (In respective branch i.e. Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical) or equivalent qualification as mentioned in appendix B of HSE (Class-II) Public Works Department (Irrigation Branch) Rules, 1970.
  • Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric Level.

Assistant Director

Total Posts: 17

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100+ Rs.5400/- Grade Pay.

Age Limit: A candidate should not be less than 30 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 31.12.2011.

Education Qualification:

  • Degree in Bachelor of Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution;
  • Five years experience in supervisory capacity in a workshop or in an Organization of repute;
  • Teaching experience in Government Technical Institutions shall be considered as an additional qualification; and
  • Adequate knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit.

District information and Public Relations Officer (Group-B)

Pay Scale: PB Rs.9300-34800+ GP Rs.4800/-+ Rs.200/- Special Pay.

Age Limit: A candidate should not be less than 17 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 19.11.2012.

Education Qualification:

  • Master's degree in Mass Communication or Journalism from a recognized University and two years media experience in a National Daily Newspaper or Television Channel or Publicity Organization of Govt. or Public Undertaking or University.
  • M.A (Hindi or English) from a recognized University and One year Post Graduation Diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism and two years media experience in a National Daily Newspaper or Television Channel or Publicity Organization of Govt. or Public Undertaking or University.
  • Hindi /Sanskrit upto Matric standard.

Curator (Group-B)

Total Posts: 1

Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.4200 Grade Pay.

Age Limit: Not below 21 years and not more than 40 years as on 15.10.2012.

Education Qualification:

  • Second Class M.A. in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology (with Archaeology Group) from a recognized University.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology.
  • Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard.

Sub Divisional Engineer

Total Posts: 1

Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800+Rs. 5400/- Grade Pay

Age Limit: Candidate should not be below 20 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01.08.2012.

Education Qualification:

  • 1st Class degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture or M.Sc. Degree in Horticulture including floriculture and Olericulture or M.Sc Degree in Botany with Horticulture as one of the subjects from a recognized university or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard.

For application forms and detailed information write to the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block-B, Sector-4, Panchkula by remitting Rs.500/- for General Category including Dependent son of ESM of Haryana candidates and Rs.125/- for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes and Ex-Servicemen of Haryana and women candidates of all categories. Further persons with disabilities shall be exempted from payment of application fee and examination fee, prescribed in respect of competitive examinations held by the Haryana Public Service Commission for candidates to various posts.
