UPSC Subject Selection HELP.

post your comments about UPSC Subject Selection here...

Hi!

I also suffered the same problem. Between Geography, Psyco and SOcio. I selected Geog as my first optional. To clear the doubts between Psyco and Socio.. I just gone through past year question papers and also their syllabus. I self analysed that whether I have a geniune interest in the topics which i can study for long.. Then to remove further doubt i also purchased Socio and Psycho NCERT books and just gone through them. Finally, after testing myself I found that Psyco is more interesting than Socio. This way i resoved the problem.. I hope u can also solve the problem through this method.

All the best..

Shahid

hii this is suchitra I am doing my B.E(mechanical), i want to choose civils as my carrier option. but,i am much confused about which optionals to choose, coaching,material,etc..please help me regarding this

It is great to see an Engineer, choosing to become an Civl servant.. Great..

Its a good first step.. All the best..

While selecting optional, you need to be very careful..

Stick on to the subject, which is of your interest, more than your knowledge..

Because, Civil needs lot of patience and consistent preparation.. Only if the optinals are interesting, then you will have the eagerness to study more and with grip..

So, decide on your favourite...

Best Wishes...

Hari..
